The Different Kinds of Dab Nails

Dab nails are very important. When choosing dab nails, safety is only one aspect. Functionality is the most important. Each nail is tested by our quality and design team. We determine airflow, heat retention, strength, and durability.

There are several different types of nails you can use in your equipment. They all have thermal properties that allow them to absorb and retain extreme heat. Some materials may have certain advantages over others. Below we have compiled some key information about the different types of nails.

Enail

Enails are an exciting new addition to the world of dabbing. They make it more fun and convenient. Enail Dab Kit is very popular today. But one of the best seller is the enail electric dab nail. An eNail is heated by a metal coil connected to an electronic control unit.

The heat is transferred to your dabbing nails when you turn the device on. Using an eNail instead of a blowtorch has several advantages. First, you can stop buying spare propane or butane – unless, of course, you like dabbing with it. You also have much more control over the temperature and shape of your nails. Set the indicator on your box to the desired temperature and you can enjoy the sweet-tasting puffs.

Quartz Nails

Man This nail is one of the most sought-after nails on the market. Quartz nails can retain the maximum amount of flavor in their concentrates and heat up in seconds. Quartz nails can be purchased in a variety of sizes and styles to fit any device.

For optimal performance, it is recommended to use a carb cap when using quartz nails. To preserve the essential terpenes in your concentrates, use a quartz nail to heat the bowl evenly. This will double the life of the quartz nail. Quartz is safe and non-toxic and can be used as a food or medicinal material.

Titanium Nails

The TI nail must be made of grade 2 or 3 titanium. These nails withstand heat well for dabbing and have minimal or no byproducts. After much testing, we have found that grade 2 titanium is the best. So this is what you get. Titanium nails are virtually indestructible.

Titanium nails are more durable than ceramic and quartz nails and can withstand more falls on hard surfaces like tile. Titanium nails can be properly heated in about 15-25 seconds. But titanium is not suitable for medical or food use, so be sure to check before you buy. Titanium nails can develop thin layers of titanium oxide, which can reduce productivity.

Ceramic Nails

Holding Ceramic nails taste good and have excellent heat retention. They take about 30 seconds to heat up well. Ceramic doesn’t glow orange like quartz or titanium, so it’s hard to tell if the nail is getting too hot. Because it is chemically inert, the ceramic used for enamel is safe for food and medical use. Ceramic does not need to be cured because it is a non-porous substance.

Ceramics cannot be dropped and are susceptible to cracking due to thermal stress. To avoid breakage or cracking due to thermal stress, heat the ceramic nail evenly. A ceramic nail may not feel hot, but it can take time to cool and still burn you. We recommend using a carbide plug to maximize the success rate and prevent concentrate residue from sticking to the nail.
